mGalaxy is a “portable” application. This means that the application folder can be moved and copied anywhere because all the files necessary for its operation are included in the folder.
If you are aiming at portability (to be able to go to a friend’s house with your mGalaxy installation on a USB stick, for example) it is recommended to place all the other folders (emulators, screenshots, videos,…) in the same folder.
