Today I decided to install mGalaxy to my laptop, as I'm travelling a lot.

And of course the videos didn't show up... Then I remembered this topic and I could get the videos running like on my desktop.

I think you should really pin these explanations, or even better, explain these steps in the ...

I did found the info in the other post, but I didn't manage to get it working

Only Windows 10 knows why now it's working

I found a way to get it working !!!!

At least...

I downloaded an utility called Win7DSFilterTweaker, and it allowed me to be able to see finally the videos in WMP and mGalaxy

I have installed these LAV filters, but the videos still don't show up in Windows Media Player... :(

I really don't get it, perhaps it has something to do with Windows 10 and it's Media Player ?

Could someone explain to me how he managed to get it working ?

On 2 different computers with fresh Windows 10 anniversary installs, with WMP 12 installed, I can't see the videos...

But they play fine in MPClassic !

Perhaps the problem comes from Win 10 ?

Any user of Windows 10 here ?

I know that mGalaxy is not the culprit regarding the videos not playing ! I just can't understand how to play these damn videos :)

They are fine in MPC, they are in mp4 , it should be ok. But only god knows why, they don't play in other players.

I have installed K-Lite Codec pack, no luck ...

Tried on another computer, Windows 10 64bits, 1 monitor, still nothing

It sounds really too complicated for me I'm afraid, I really don't know how to use the scripts :(

mGalaxy looks great, but I have too many troubles, including the fact that the videos are still blank, even with all the codec packs I could try !

It's a pain, because ...

And by the way, when I play the videos in WMP, they are black as well !

Just can't find a proper codec to make them show up 

I have tried,

It allows mGalaxy to show the rom list, but when I launch a game, I just have the KickStart insert disk screen.

But I should find a way, it just annoying not to have a proper tutorial from the developer.

And I'm not sure that the Amiga is really a good system for an Arcade system ...

I have a Windows 10 with Windows Media Player 12 installed...

I indeed have a multi screen installation, but currently only one screen is ON, the others are OFF and deactivated in  the Radeon Control Panel.

So I really don't get it

After hours of trying to find a way to play the videos, still no luck.

They are fine in Media Player Classic, but stay black in Windows Movie Player

Even with K-Lite codec pack.

I'm using Windows 10 if that can help

Do you think it could be a codec problem ?

The videos are showing in Media Player Classic, but the video is black in Windows Media Player...
