roms extensions
hi,
try to rename all your other roms to one extension,
example: pacman.prg -> pacman.zip, if all your extensions should be .zip
this works with ( i think ... ) all other emus too.
i use this workaround for my C64 collection (.file, .c64, .tap, .prg => .d64),
and some other emus ...

i think with the ISOS this is special,
to add more ext. we should ask the admin here (?)
but again, the extension renaming works with C64, Sega, Amiga, and i think more too.
Sure, at MAME not, they force the zip archives.

there is a way to have PS1 Roms with one extension but this would mean to convert all Roms
ePSXe 1.8.0 supports .PBP format now
good side is that compress them to .zip level of compression
downside is that it doesn't support .mds .mdf so you need to covert first to .bin .cue then to .PBP
and if have many Roms that can take a while
so yeah it still would be great to just add more ext. formats
i guess we could make this a request for next version

An other problem for dremcast, it can read cdi format and gdi. And it s not the same way to launch the rom.
So use the same extension isn't possible, the better way is an autoit script that look at the extension and use 2 differents methods.
(yeah I can use the same extension and put a tag like "game (GDI).cdi" but i don't think it s a really clean method)
