Hello everyone :)

I have managed to import the "Taito Type X" Emulator with mGalaxy by using the "Microsoft [Applications]" system. Within this system, there are two games known as "Street Fighter IV" and "Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition". Now when I launch "Street Fighter IV", everything is all well and good. However with "Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition", when it comes to the actual stage, it's really slow in terms of speed...

So I tried running it without mGalaxy and...yeah, it's running perfectly fine. I assume this is an mGalaxy related issue.

These are my current settings setup in "mGalaxy_Runaway":

Executable: cmd.exe
Roms: taito x2/Games
Snaps: taito x2/snaps
Videos: taito x2/videos

How can I run "Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition" on mGalaxy with normal speed? Can anyone please help me into resolving this issue?  :'(

Much appreciated :)

Kind regards,

You are using same executable ?
Because mgalaxy just run the executable you have specified in shortcut. If you run the same executable on windows there is not reason to have a different configuration.

Edit:
I think we don't use same way to use this emulator ^^
I have made link file and put then in a special folder like explained here http://www.mgalaxy.com/tutorial_emulators.html

Thank you for replying :)

Oh I see. Are you suggesting that I use a different executable instead of "cmd.exe"? And will this prevent the slowdown in the game?

If that is the case, what executable should I use in conjunction with the Taito Type X2 shortcuts?

Many thanks.

Nope the executable is the same, but the 'roms" you are listing in mgalaxy are exe file or lnk file ?
Because I have some games in this system who work with *.bat file, and not *.exe, or other with 3/4 executables.

The Taito Type X2 "roms" are exe files. In this case, the exe files are the launchers to the actual games.

So I have created shortcuts (lnk) files of the exe launchers, and listed them in mGalaxy.

What would you recommend further to keep the configuration consistent?

Many thanks.

For "SSFIVAE" if it s the same Street fighter than you, i m using "Super Street Fighters 4 Arcade Edition.exe" as shortcut.

I don't understand. What did you do to keep the speed consistent when launching the lnk file with SSFIVAE? Because the "Microsoft [Applications]" system that I am using for the Tatito Type X Emulator will only accept lnk files.

Many thanks.

I created a .lnk file from my executable: "SSFIVAE_Launcher.exe". When I run the .lnk file on mGalaxy in "Microsoft [Applications]" System, it runs very slowly.

When I run the .exe file on the Windows 7 Desktop, it runs perfectly fine.

Many thanks.

Try with the lnk file directly on windows to see.
But even with using same executable than you (Win 7 too), I don't have your bug, look at the lnk option (right clic on the lnk file / property)

Is it okay to share your version of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition rom with me? I think it may be the rom I downloaded...

Many thanks.

I have send you a forum link with some info and DL, but I have the same version than you for sure, perhaps with some patchs you don't have, but no reason to change game speed.
And if you run with clicking on lnk file ?
