First of all, THANKS for your SUPERB work with mgalaxy. I love it.
I would like an option I think mgalaxy is missing.
A command (with the press of a key, for example) to stop a game that I don't want to be in the list from coming up again next time I open that system (Mame, for example)
There is a lot of gambling, pachinko, etc. games that I will never play, but they are in the list everty time I open Mame.
Thanks in advance
Hidding a game in Mame
yes, i know, but that only works once, it's not permanentAeliss wrote: There is some filter in the preference panel, it s more for a "games types" than a title, but can work if you want to hide all pachinko for exemple.
I would like to be able to hide game by game, and I think that is not implemented in mgalaxy
It's permanent, no ?
From my memory its possible too edting the database, but easier if you have the premium, else every time you will update the database, you will need to remake all changes.
If you are using database, all games not in it will be not displayed.

This is not possible inside mGalaxy itself...but inside Runway!HHH wrote: I dont have the premium, so I cant tell you if thats correct.
What I mean, is to hide a game INSIDE mgalaxy, not in mgalaxy Runaway
Here, there are powerful commands to hide games based on multi-criteria...and yes, this is a Premium functionality!
See there https://www.mgalaxy.com/mgalaxy_runway_overview/ > DB EDIT tab

Or if you have few games to remove, enable the database feature and delete yourself the games you don't want to be displayed in the xml file xmlout.xml.
But remember you will need to restart this operation every time you will re-create this list.
