Just when it started working, mGalaxy crashed again as far as the Screenshots, and animations. Not only did it stop taking the new ones, it wiped out all the stuff that was there before.
The games listing are still there, and they work fine
It is just that I have no media in the media box.
Also the media is not showing up in the preview section of runway like it did before.
I did notice right before the crash I got this message (Excuse the caps)
COULDN'T WRITE TO MGALAXY -RUNAWAY.LOG FILE
THE PROCESS CANNOT ACCESS THE FILE
C:\USERS\ROBS\ONEDRIVE\DESKTOP\MGALAXY\DATA\MGALAXY-RUNWAY.LOG
BECAUSE IT IS BEING USED BY ANOTHER PROCESS
I would hate to uninstall mGalaxy and reinstall and add all my data and nothing change
Can someone help me out here.

Do you run into problem with every systems that you've set..or only a few one?
I could read in your other topics that your problem was solved..wasn't it?

I had some systems working, and some did not. Then it started to work again. Then it crashed again, and all the previous data was lost. I am back to square #1. Just have the game listings, and none of the graphics.

But you loose your media file too, or just the configuration ?
Try with another drive than c:/ but it's just a suggestion as it doesn't look like a permission error.

It's sad you can't write somes logs, it seem you have something that crash the mGalaxyRunaway application, but will be hard to find the probleme without log ...

what are you doing when crash happen ? You are using mGalaxy or mGalaxyRunaway ?

I lose  just the media files.
The games are still listed. And pressing enter still brings them up.
It is just that when they are highlighted, there is no screen shot, or animations
I will attempt another drive, but to be honest I do not think it will do anything, but at this point I will try anything
Mostly when the crash happens, I am using multiple applications of Runway. Maybe loading two or three system at the same time.
But that is nothing that I didn't do before.
With earlier versions I had five systems loading at the same time.

Aeliss I think you might have done it. I didn't think it would help, but I did what you suggested. I moved my art files from c: to another
hard drive. So far two system I have loaded have worked.
I am not going to try multiple systems as that may be why it crashed.
It may take a few days to get everything back in, but no big deal.
I thank you for your help.

But it's realy strange.

You loose the media file (the video and picture file) or the path to the file (so the media are missing but still present on hard drive) ?

But yes open more than one session of Runaway is not a good idea, all of them will will use the same database for system, so you can have an error for "file already used" or a data corruption.
I don't see the utility of opening many instance of Runaway ? this app is just for configuration.

No the videos and the picture file were not even downloading.
Usually I run the runway with the option to preview the graphics. Last  night I saw SCUMM loading, and then do Commodore 64 before going to bed.
I was not even getting the graphic files at all. But yesterday afternoon it started to download the files from Screenscraper like it should
But overnight it pooped out on me again. I was able to do SCUMM games, and then I did Commodore 64. After that it went on me again.
Again it is not downloading the graphic files from the database.
I have tried about four times to do Dreamcast
I am about to throw in the towel.
