This is generally related to a problem with the internet connection

Interesting, Internet connectivity works fine on the computer.
I wonder if it is related to a port restriction or a security certificate.

Are there any troubleshooting steps to try?

Port restriction, I don't think because it use http protocol (port 80)
Try to connect yourself at database site with internet navigator, sometime it's the database site that is off.

[/quote]ThriakisArcade contacted me and discovered that his problem was only happening with Windows XP!
We are investigating (even it's hard for us...no one in the team is using xp anymore)

I am experiencing the issue on Vista.
My guess is that it has something to do with security certificates. The security certs that web services use today are not fully compatible with Win XP and Win Vista.
