Video clips and sounds don't work on new install

I got a new pc to run my arcade but I can't get the video snaps and sound (both from the Music Path and the video sounds) to play.  When I launch a game the game sound works.  I copied all the settings, snaps, roms, etc from my working system to the new system but no joy.  Both boxes are Windows 7, the new one has a EVGA GeForce 210 card (so I can play GameCube and newer emulators).  I verified that the Video Preview setting is selected as well.  Any help would be appreciated!

This seems to be the sign that WindowsMediaPlayer 10 should be installed!

Thanks, that was it!  Windows Media Player and the entire Media Features section wasn't installed so downloading it from Microsoft fixed the issue.  Thanks for the help!
