Hi, I´m new on this forum. I installed mGalaxy on a windows 8 system, and it runs fine.
Now I´m trying to run it under windows XP. It is a PIII 1Ghz, 256ram system. It runs windows xp SP3, with directx 9 and the 4.0 framework (everything listed on the requerimentes list).
The problem is that when I try to run mGalaxy all I get is an error message saying that the program detected an error and must be closed (it´s the generic xp error message, so I cant get any useful information about the error)
Does this program run on windows xp? anyone can help me? thanks!!

Thanks for the answer man, right now I´m at work. I´ll try that when I get home.
I forgot to say, the system does not have any 3D hardware. It only has a direct draw compatible video card (onboard), could that be the problem? The system runs basic mame games, sega and snes games, they run perfectly and thats all I want... but does mGalaxy require 3D hardware?
That would be a problem because there is no space on the bartop to add a pci card

Does mGalaxy run with 256MB of system memory? should I try installing a 3D video card?
Thanks!!
