Do i need Autoit to be installed on my computer for it to use the "script"?.exe

thanks for any detaild help....  in Maxamus i just put "autohotkey"file  in root file and add it to the post run ........ in the config...screen...

You just need to install autoit if you want to make modification on script, if you have downloaded the exe format script, you don't need it.

It's almost same, you need to put the script called "mGalaxy_Script.exe" in the same folder than nullDC, so at same place than the file "nullDC_Win32_Release.exe". But in mGalaxyrunaway select the emulator name "nullDC_Win32_Release.exe" never the script.
In mGalaxy script are "invisible", you can delete it, mGalaxy still works (but less working ^^). From my memory, without script, nullDC works fine (fullscreen+load rom) but can be hide, it can works in the background.
I have set runway to use script if avalible
Nice.
so how do i get it to load the game? and in full screen?
Just configure NullDC in fullscreen in NullDC itself, some emulator doesn't support the fullscreen in commandline, so for some of them this step is obligatory.

OK hopefully this will help alot of you looking to get dreamcast "Nuilldc" working

this is what you do...go to your Data folder and find..."Systems.xml"
open it in a text editor
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and replace this:

<Cmd id="1" name="NullDC [Script]" value="-config ImageReader:DefaultImage="%path\%file%ext""/>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
with this new line:  and enjoy now working

<Cmd id="1" name="NullDC [Script]" value="-config nullDC:Emulator.Autostart=1 -config ImageReader:LoadDefaultImage=1 -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="%path\%file%ext""/>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is what it looks like in CMD Line for a batch just for example!

-config nullDC:Emulator.Autostart=1 ^            ------------  new added
-config ImageReader:LoadDefaultImage=1 ^    ------------  new added
-config ImageReader:DefaultImage=""%path\%file%ext""

Thanks for your reply "Aeliss"
i am using the script in the nulldc folder witch allows for a clean exit...
but still wont load the game with that script. only opens nulldc...

it sounds like the script solves it for some of us but not all "in my case!"

so with the system.xml change "above" and the script  it is now working 100%

It's because you haven't configured the emulator first.
On the emulator page you can read
- To set the emulator to fullscreen:
Edit values in 'nullDC.cfg' file: AutoHideMenu=1, Fullscreen=1

While you're there: Emulator.AutoStart=1, LoadDefaultImage=1
It's for that I m not using special config, but use it in the command line may be a good idea too, less problem.

And after test your command line don't overwrite the previous config, and isn't saved on the ini file, so it's realy good to use.
