Custom gamelists!! I think that would be about the first change to be made, I have been using an alternative waiting for this change, then we can customize our machines more to our likes . After that we'll see, maybe require everyone to vote on this, via email or the main vote, no one is voting!!!
1. Customizable background, color and font.
2. Hide the DOS window....and no, I don't like MAME32....v114 is way to slow.
3. Change the exit function to be something other than escape(p1/p2). That is the same exit function to end the game, and if you hit it twice by mistake (sorry, fat fingers), it closes the game and mGalaxy.
4. Make a shutdown selection to shutdown the pc.
5. Make the ability to run other programs....it'd be really sweet to be able to run a jukebox program from the menu selections so you don't have to exit to go into jukebox program.
Other than that, good going dude!!! You rock!

> mGalaxy v1.1 is coming (about 2-3 days).
This functionality won't be there but more than certainly in the next version

> Done in v1.1

> Yes, I understand! And the problem is even more embarrassing when you know that there's now an option to shutdown the PC on mGalaxy quit
The problem is the number of push-buttons on a panel (mine is a 4buttons panel!)
The first one is used to add/remove from favorites
The second one is not used for now
The third one will call an onscreen keyboard (yes, new in v1.1 )
The fourth one will call the preference window (previously called with PLYR2)
Plyr1 & 2 are used to select/exit in all windows
Do you have an idea?
What about a confirmation window? A last "Yes"/"No" window before quitting
4. Make a shutdown selection to shutdown the pc.

On the exit function, I agree with it asking about exiting. Maybe p1/p2 and then button 1 to confirm or something like that. I like the shutdown on exit idea. Again, the idea is to hide the fact that it is a Windows machine as much as possible. I like the idea in the other thread from uprightbass that you load it before Windows and then shutdown right out. You can always mod the bootup to display your own startup window and background before login. Wonder what that will do to my wireless though. Wanting to put a wireless NIC in the unit to upload new roms and menu settings from my desktop so I don't have to get inside the machine to update it.
Like I said, will definately beta test for you!

So how goes it?
By now, mGalaxy v1.1 should be able to run everything in multiple colors with custom logos and background music while multiprocessing other programs and making me a Grande Cappuchino to boot (with lotsa foam and cinnamon)!!!!
