Oh, that's true, I actually forgot to mention that 7za.exe is needed in the same directory of the emulator, together with the script.
My bad. ::)
Edit: After a bit of researching, I think that using an external zip utility like 7za.exe is indeed the best option. Windows native unzipping utility is ...

AutoIt script to load zipped bin/cue files in Retroarch
As some of you guys may have noticed, Retroarch does not support extracting bin/cue files from zipped archives. (as of the most recent version 1.4.1)
While the guys at libretro do not come up with a solution, I've developed a simple script to extract those games from archives automatically.
I tested ...

Re: Creating a PC Engine CD Base System
That's weird, when I tested it earlier today, I had the impression that mGalaxy didn't found valid files inside subfolders.
I tested again, and it actually works now. My fault, probably. :-[ Anyway, problem solved!

Creating a PC Engine CD Base System
Hi, I have some PCECD backups that I would like to add to mGalaxy, so I tried to create a base system entry for the PC Engine CD. I have stumbled upon some difficulties, however.
Most PCE CD games are comprised of a multitude of .bin and .cue files, and as such, having many games in one folder can ...

Re: How do I change the systems order?
I didn't notice that the order was alphabetical. ::)
I realize now that my question was quite dumb.
But anyway, a simple drag n' drop ordering in mGalaxy_Runway would be very welcome!

Turbografx-16 System Info
Following mGalaxy's tutorial, I created a new system entry for Turbografx-16.
This is great if you would like to keep PC-Engine (JAP) and Turbografx-16 (USA) separated, like the Hyperlist databases.
The icon.png could use some work, it's good enough but not exactly like the default systems.

ScummVM game names
Hi,
After using the ScummVM shortcut generator, my ScummVM setup is working flawlessly, but the names of the games are using that default DOS shortform (like 'monkey' instead of Secret of Monkey Island). Is there anyway to fix this? I could just rename the folders and run the utility again, but ...

Re: Fail-over option for artwork display
This works, the only downside is that if you have a lot of games, the additional space adds up. :D
It's not much (about 1 GB or so in my current setup), but a simple checkbox to let mGalaxy look for missing art in another folder would be so much cleaner IMO.

Fail-over option for artwork display
Hi, first of all, thank you for this amazing frontend. I've tried every frontend under the sun and mGalaxy is the closest I got to a hassle-free setup and a perfect experience.
