Re: New version of mGalaxy soon?
- All: pick games in the whole game list
Does this include non-working games in MAME? Which means it will display either a black screen or a series of garbled screen? Now that it comes to mind, if you could add a filter to hide games which are labeled as "not working" and ...

Re: Is there an option for vertical monitors?
Yes it does...I understand that it would be fine with your Mame setup..but mGalaxy being a multi-emulator frontend what about other emu running 'rotated' on a landscape display? Do they all offer the possibility of being rotated?
I completely missed that mGalaxy supports ...

Re: Is there an option for vertical monitors?
I believe that is a mame option to turn the screen sideways.
Different issues: one thing is desktop orientation at the OS level (and, as a consequence, in mGalaxy), the other is MAME. MAME has its own configuration which is independent to everything else. Here I'm talking OS ...

Re: Is there an option for vertical monitors?
Just a heads up: I discovered that the "vertical theme" isn't actually vertical (meaning that I have to turn the monitor sideways), but has just a different layout. As such I had to use a software to rotate the monitor which caused a lot of issues on my setup. I've figured them out, but I'd still ...

Re: [MAME] mGalaxy window resized when quitting a game
I'd love to but my free time is incredibly scarce of late
I think the most important issue mGalaxy has right now is related to the database creation: going the RomLister route is a slow and painful one for me.
Thanks for your hard work, I'll wait for the new release!

Is there an option for vertical monitors?
Hi, I was wondering if there's an option to rotate the UI so I can use it with a vertical monitor.
I've looked around in the options but couldn't find anything.

Re: [MAME] mGalaxy window resized when quitting a game
Yeah, I can take a video with my smartphone tomorrow. What happens is this: When I start the game, mGalaxy minimizes, showing the desktop, the dos box launching MAME goes up and then MAME starts fullscreen. Then when I quit MAME it goes back to mGalaxy, but sometimes the window only takes a fraction ...

Re: [MAME] mGalaxy window resized when quitting a game
Another issue I have is that when I start a game mGalaxy minimizes. Why? By minimizing it shows both the Desktop and the MAME dos box (ugly!). I think that a way to solve this and possibly even the other bug is having mGalaxy working in a maximized, borderless window which sticks on top (so that ...

Re: [MAME] mGalaxy window resized when quitting a game
I'm unable to reproduce this bug at a certain time, it looks like it happens randomly. Sometimes I play like 10 different games and all is good. Then one day it happens everytime on the same games. I'll try to make some more tests and see if I can have this happen with a certain combination of ...

I have to look into it but I didn't notice one. I'll make a google search about it just to make sure.

Re: Multiple ROM directories
I know, but then clrmamepro would complain about unneeded files and I'd hate to forget to remove the thing to fix unneeded files and see 350GB+ of CHD vanish like stars in the morning light.

[MAME] mGalaxy window resized when quitting a game
This doesn't happen always, but it sure happens often. When I quit a game in MAME and get back to mGalaxy, I find it resized to the last played game's resolution. Here's a (bad) pic https://i.gyazo.com/6ae10491fee0360e631561f0cbe3be54.png Only way to fix this is quitting mGalaxy and opening again ...
