This doesn't happen always, but it sure happens often.
When I quit a game in MAME and get back to mGalaxy, I find it resized to the last played game's resolution.
Here's a (bad) pic
Only way to fix this is quitting mGalaxy and opening again. Starting another game and back doesn't work.
This is VERY annoying.
[MAME] mGalaxy window resized when quitting a game
I'm unable to reproduce this bug at a certain time, it looks like it happens randomly.
Sometimes I play like 10 different games and all is good. Then one day it happens everytime on the same games.
I'll try to make some more tests and see if I can have this happen with a certain combination of actions.

Another issue I have is that when I start a game mGalaxy minimizes.
Why?
By minimizing it shows both the Desktop and the MAME dos box (ugly!).
I think that a way to solve this and possibly even the other bug is having mGalaxy working in a maximized, borderless window which sticks on top (so that other windows/stuff stay hidden behind it).
This way mGalaxy sets the maximized windows dimension at the start and doesn't change it afterwards.

Thanks for willing to help programming mGalaxy ! ;-)
mGalaxy is of course programmed to open in a maximized, topmost window! And it works!
But that's computer, and sometimes a combinations of events leads to a 'bug'. We are working hard to wipe every bug that is reported...We will try to reproduce the one you report and investigate on it !
mGalaxy doesn't minimize on game launch...never!! It just pass behind the 'new' window. By the way, how can you see it? Doesn't your emulator open full-screen?
What's your windows system, mGalaxy version, graphic card?
Could you screen capture the whole sequence in a video file?

Yeah, I can take a video with my smartphone tomorrow.
What happens is this:
When I start the game, mGalaxy minimizes, showing the desktop, the dos box launching MAME goes up and then MAME starts fullscreen.
Then when I quit MAME it goes back to mGalaxy, but sometimes the window only takes a fraction of the screen, showing what's behind.
Besides these bugs, I'm really, really enjoying mGalaxy. I think it's the only frontend that worked for me upfront without spending days searching on Google for tutorials and stuff. Good work!

Sorry for taking this long to reply, lot of stuff happened in between
Here's a video showing you exactly what happens:

I think that all the problem you're facing should be addressed with the next version of mGalaxy!
1. There is now a - per emulator - option to hide the command window (we can't hide it systematically, cause some applications 'need' it to work properly (for instance, 'SNES9X' won't show at all if the command window is hidden)
MAME will be set to 'command window hidden' by default.
2. mGalaxy will now constantly check for resolution change and set its size to the (initial) window size
I'm ready to send you a beta version if you want to test it out!!

I'd love to but my free time is incredibly scarce of late
I think the most important issue mGalaxy has right now is related to the database creation: going the RomLister route is a slow and painful one for me.
Thanks for your hard work, I'll wait for the new release!

Anyway I can get the latest beta version ? Would like to try the hide window feature. Thanks.
