MGalaxy and HLSL

Hi everyone, not sure if this has been covered before, did a search and could not find anything. Anyway, when running Mame64, have HLSLenabled to make everything look great, but when running via MGalaxy, even though HLSL is enabled in mame.ini, it does not show in any game using the frontend.
Am I missing something here?

Strange!! I personally don't have this problem, I can see my HLSL settings applied correctly when mGalaxy opens Mame!
Sorry to ask, I know that it may sound 'evident'..but do you have many different Mame folders on your disk? Is the one you're doing your test on the one that is referenced inside mGalaxy_Runway?
Is there a correct 'mame.ini' file inside it?
I'm running Mame v0176 with those settings:
