ive always used romlister with no issues on mgalaxy. After the new update to mgalaxy 6, it crashes when importing "mg_mamedb" that I created with romlister.

Romlister is NOT updated to mGalaxy v6.0 database format!
I will contact him shortly about that fact!

How do I setup my mame database in mgalaxy runway so my games list looks like it does when I used romlister for mgalaxy 5.5? What I mean is, how do I hide all the bios files and make games like donkey kong  actually read as donkey kong and not dkong? I have no idea how to create a mame database now without romlister.

I followed all the steps in "the mame case" and I click ok on "database saved" and i still dont see games in my list. i  clicked used database if available and save it. open mgalaxy and then i get "the filtering produced an empty game list".

thank you so much for the video, it works now! But I have one last question. how do i filter the data base just so it shows the roms i have (which is around 600). everytime i go to mgalaxy, it shows 11330 games. I put "rom" in the filter and it displays all my roms but i cant get it to transfer to mgalaxy when i open it.

Once in mGalaxy, call the 'Preferences' window and check 'Available Only' button!
