Hey all,

    I've been using mgalaxy and I love it. The problem I have though is that I unable to change the video settings for MAME. When I run MAME itself. I can change the trottle video settings and other various video settings. When I run mgalaxy, I have no way to access the MAME settings. So now whenever there is a lot of video activity while playing a game, I get this line break in the video that slowly scrolls down the screen. I know that I just need to change the video settings but I don't know how to access it since Mgalaxy doesn't have a menu for that. Any help?

The settings you're willing to change are Mame related.
Editing the "mame.ini" files to your needs may be the answer to your question.
(Find help about configuring Mame in the "config.txt" file in the "docs" folder of your Mame directory)

Hello, I am new to mgalaxy and I love it!  I am also having the video problem posted above.  I tried the link to download the mame.ini but the link is dead.  Is there anywhere else to get it?  I'm using mame v138 (don't know if that matters)?  Thanks!

Got it Thanks!  What settings do I need to change in order to fix my video problem (I get the line around mid screen during most games with scrolling)?  Thanks again for taking the time to help!!!!

Hey Guys,  Just wanted to post my findings in case anyone else needs help with this.  After you've created the mame.ini file go into the settings and look for "full screen options" change the "triplebuffer" from 0 to 1.0 that should fix your screen tearing issue!  Also you can change your vector beam width and many other settings from this!  Hope this is helpful!
