XML files..

For some reason I tried editing my MAME xml files and crashed mgalaxy. I had to replace the old ver. to continue to use it. I have no idea why this is since I only deleted what I don't have. I have never had this happen in any other arcade front end I have ever used. I feel there is something done to the files, since it does take a while to open them. But if I re-save them and open the file it opens right away. So whats the deal with these files?

What do you want to modify in the xml file ? You are speaking about this one made by Mame itself ?

Found out it seems to be my MAME PC. I tried my files on a laptop with mgalaxy and it works, so I have no idea why this is. So I am manually transferring each section of my games to a thumb drive and editing them on a laptop and then transferring them back to the PC. It's a hassle, but at least I can now edit the files without crashing mgalaxy.
