mGalaxy version 9 and 10 do not work in Win11 with Mame

I have mention a couple times before that Mame and mGalaxy version 9 and 10 are not working in windows 11. I though I would give this one more try before switching to a new front end. Mame works fine by itself so I know it's not the main problem. With mGalaxy version 9 you can launch a game but when you ESC back out of it it freezes with the screen split. The only way out is CTRL ALT DELETE. With mGalaxy 10 a game wont launch at all, it says launching but nothing happens.... I have even private messaged mGalaxy with no respone in about a month...

I can't reproduce what you're explaining.
Could you please download this portable version of mGalaxy.
It's configured and contains a few internal roms for testing.
...and let me know if you have the same problem, please.

Ok Weird, your version works in my downloads folder so I thought maybe i'de take my 2 versions and plop them in the download folder and see what happens. but they still don't work. I though maybe it was something with my external drive that I had them on was screwing them up but I guess not... So why does yours work and mine doesn't ?? lol

Can you send me a download link like that for Version 10 and if it works fine I will get the premium so I can have the themes again...

Also I see in the coming updates we are supposed to be able to launch a game from the screensaver. I wonder how hard it would be to use a key to add a game from the screensaver to our like mame favorites within mGalaxy. A number of times i have walked past my screen and seen a game that looked good but I had already missed the title and had to go looking for it..lol. it would be handy to just see a game on the screen saver and just press a key to add it directly to the favorites for Mame

Just a thought, like i said I dont know if it would be hard or even impossible but it would be nice....

Before going further with v10, may you please do this on the versions installed on your hard drive that a causing problem:

Open "mGalaxy\DataDefinition\Emulators.xml" with a text editor.
With the search tool, search for this line:<Emulator name="MAME" hidden="false">
...and in this line, replace "false" with "true"
Save, Test and Report here please

Ok I changed it, but it did not make a difference. Still says launching game and does nothing other than the video preview of the game shifts a bit for a splitn second and then all is the same

ok so everything is good now, Thanks for trying to help. I got both version 8 and 10 working perfect it seems...

is there any possibility of an "Add Favorites" key working with the screen saver in the near future
