I use my XBox controller for most of my games.
However I can not seem to get to work on Daphne
Is there a way to get Daphne to recognize my Xbox controller so I do not need to use the keyboard

Good question, on my side I use emulator like x360ce.
But Daphne is realy old, there is recent fork that have perhaps the native Xbox support https://github.com/DirtBagXon/hypseus-singe
