Videos snaps not playing on xp machine

I'm configuring mgalaxy on this machine then move it over to my crt. It works great so far but when I test it on this machine, the video snaps play but on the xp machine with crt, the videos don't play. In older threads I saw advice to make sure the videos play in windows media player. They do now but mgalaxy still won't show any videos. Anyone got any advice?
