Opening znes with mGalaxy makes the sound volume go down?

I am having a strange issue where only when I open znes via mGalaxy, the volume in znes goes down to 7%. I go into znes on its own, change it back, then open it through mgalaxy and it just goes back down. Any ideas why this is happening?

Have you checked the settings for "Volumes > Emulator" in the preference window of mGalaxy?
