Re: mgalaxy doesn't properly scan new rom structure for Higan

To get around this problem, I use RetroArch and it's bsnes core(s), which can be used with zipped roms.

This is the commandline I use in the Systems.xml:

Code: Select all

<Cmd id="3" name="RetroArch" value="-L cores\bsnes_balanced_libretro "%path\%file%ext" -f" />

Re: Custom sounds in mgalaxy?? Backround Music??

There is a music path that can be selected in mGalaxyRunway, on the others tab. I tried it with a folder of mp3 files, which played in the background in mGalaxy.

Re: Icons for some missing systems

I would say the actual hardware. It could be just an arcade cab playing one of the games associated with that hardware.

Re: mGalaxy don´t start in Winodws 7 Ultimate

Can you give some more information?

What is the emulator you are trying to get to work with mGalaxy?

Have you used mGalaxy runway to point to this emulator and set the rom path?

Make sure the "Activated" box in runway is enabled.

Icons for some missing systems

Hi,

I was wondering if you could make some icons for the systems emulated by demul?

Specifically, Atomiswave and Naomi. I have them separated in mGalaxy.

Thanks for the icon mGalaxy, now I just need icons for some others. I'll make a new thread about it.  :)

Re: Superb front end!! One thing missing, though.

Add it to the systems.xml located in the .\mGalaxy\Data folder. The command line I use: <Cmd id="0" name="Supermodel" value=""%path\%file%ext" -fullscreen" /> note: make a folder for Super Model 3 in the Data folder, and also place a icon.png inside it.

Game Synopsis

Hi, Would it be possible to add a synopsis for each game, in a similar way to how the note.rtf feature is displayed? I am a member at emuxtras.net where they have a synopsis editor, which allows a user to generate the necessary .txt files for each game. I've attached a sample of the synopsis files ...
