I'm getting an annoying issue that freezes mGalaxy on my PC.
Let me describe my issue. I have a lot of SNES and Genesis roms, and I've downloaded a lot of game snaps (image and video) from Emumovies. All images are on PNG format, and all videos are in MP4 (240p quality).
After fetching all these ...

Re: Useful application for snaps and others medias
I didn't had to rename any snaps obtained by EmuMovies DSU. Everything was named exactly as the rom filenames.
However, it will find snaps for romhacks only if there is something on filename that suggests the hack is based on a real game.
The examples below explain this. Let's assume you have ...

Re: Some suggestions
The first suggestion is really good. I've downloaded lots of videos snaps from emumovies, and it's really weird to hear music and video sound at the same time. Being able to mute or lower music volume would be a great solution for this issue.

Re: Music Playlist Random ?
Very interesting feature. I'll try saving a few audio files on that folder and see the results.
BTW, a good feature is to add support to chiptune soundtrack files, such as:
*.nsf -> NES
*.spc -> SNES
*.gbs -> Game Boy
*.vgm -> Genesis
This way, anyone can use game music directly from its original ...

Re: Can I disable "Esc" key behavior that exits emulator?
mGalaxy doesn't send "closing" message to the emulator.
What is send - for the emulators that support it - is an argument in the command line telling the emulator that it can map the ESC key to quit action. (for the emulators that doesn't use ESC to quit OR doesn't accept an argument to switch ...

Re: Can I disable "Esc" key behavior that exits emulator?
mGalxy doesn't close emulator on ESC key pressed!
When an application is launched (the emulator) mGalaxy just waits for it to end.
The fact is that some emulators use the ESC key to quit and that - for the one that doesn't use this key - you can use a mGalaxy script to "force" it!
Free to you to ...

Can I disable "Esc" key behavior that exits emulator?
I've downloaded mGalaxy today. It's a great frontend. Very simple and versatile. I'm using it as a frontend for my SNES games.
However, I have a lot of different USB controllers, and remapping buttons is something I do frequently. On ZSNES, input menu is showing only after I press Escape key, and ...

Re: Useful application for snaps and others medias
Very interesting. I really enjoyed mGalaxy. It's very easy to configure emulators and start playing. I'm having issues about getting snaps for my SNES games, and I believed I'd have to manually download images... until I found this topic. I'll test it later.
