My bad, one of the *.ini's was a mameui32.ini, the other mame.ini. I also had them in my INI folder as well. Was just trying to be helpful with the original poster.

Got to say, I love old games, so I use Mame for the following mainly. Galaxians, Asteroids Deluxe, BattleZone and Qix.

Have a look for a second *.ini file. Sometimes ther's more than one. Might be in a different folder as well. I have 3, one in INI folder, and 2 were in the root folder. All the same now, and everything works OK. Just an idea.

UPDATE Copied all Mame folder to mGalaxy folder, (only 2GB). Deleted "xmlout.xml", ran Mame. Exit. Ran mGalaxy and it worked, but I don't have any Snap files showing. They are in the folder, so time to go through the Forum and see what is sid bout that problem. Thanks for the help. EDIT: so thats ...

Have a "xmlout.xml" file within my Mame folder. Looked in c:\Users\{username}\Appdata\Roaming, no mGalaxy folder, so I made one and copied the file into it. No joy. Uninstalled mGalaxy and reinstalled it to at first F:\ (where my Mame folder is), this never worked, so reinstalled to default location ...

Rom list does not display at all. Roms folder is in Mame folder which hold mGalaxy and each version of Mame that I run. All roms are zipped. As soon as I change any conditions, it displays "Filter returns no results"

Hi all, couple of things:

I have Mame (cmd line) 1.31, MameUI32 and 64 versions both 1.31. Can get MGalaxy to run but it will not find the roms I have. The other programs can find them OK, just MGalaxy not.

Any ideas?
